What year/years were Doyle and Stilley Roads widened?

Having grown up on Doyle Rd., I am trying to remember the exact year that Doyle/Stilley were widened. Nobody I talk to can remember when.  Can anybody help?  I suspect it was in the very early 60's, but don't know for sure.  Was the reason for the widening to accomodate school buses enroute to the high school? Thanks.
