Buy Doughnuts, Aid Baldwin's Mini-THON Effort

Duck Donuts will donate a portion of your purchase price to the cause.

BALDWIN, PA - Stop at Duck Donuts at Siena at St. Clair this month and you can aid a good cause while satisfying your sweet tooth. Between now and Jan. 22, the doughnut shop will donate 10 percent of a customer’s order to one of four Pittsburgh high schools holding upcoming Mini-THON events - including Baldwin.

The Mini-THONS at Baldwin, Upper St. Clair, South Fayette and Chartiers Valley high schools benefit Four Diamonds, an organization funding treatments and support programs aiding in the fight against childhood cancer at Penn State’s Children’s Hospital.

This year marks the first Baldwin Mini-THON. Students are raising money through a variety of events and fundraisers that will culminate in a 12-hour event running from 6 p.m. on March 15 to 6 a.m. March 16 at the high school.

To help the cause via a doughnut purchase, you must present the Mini-THON flyer or mention the fundraiser at time of purchase in order for the school to receive credit. Customers without a tie to a specific school also have the opportunity to round up their change to the nearest dollar, which will be donated back to Four Diamonds.
