Dr. Lutz announced that effective immediately, teachers will be reopening their gradebooks – with the opportunity for all students, all grades to be encouraged to submit any late or missed work from the period of September 8, 2020 through October 14, 2020 without penalty. The due date for all missed work is October 25, 2020. Teachers will be communicating this directly with students and will reinstate any lost points for work submitted during this period.
Moving forward to preserve academic integrity, it will be required that any student experiences access or submission issues must contact the teacher directly at the time of difficulty no matter when it occurs. By reporting difficulty immediately within Canvas, a timestamp of the problem is created which helps us evaluate technical issues and work individually with the student towards a solution.
