Dec. 12, 2020

On Thursday, December 3rd, the Baldwin-Whitehall School District Transportation Department removed the seats from a 1984 convention bus that's typically used for safety training and stuffed it with 30 brand new bicycles for the US Marines' Toys for Tots Foundation. The new bikes and helmets were funded entirely by the employees of the School District's Transportation Department. The initiative was imagined and is organized by a school bus cleaner, Diane Plish, and supported by Transportation Manager David Tompkins.
