Castle Shannon Borough Community Day

Castle Shannon Community Day features free kids activities, bands and fireworks!

 On Sunday, May 25, Castle Shannon Borough Community Day will

take place in Hamilton Park from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.  The
event is free and open to the public.

Community Day activities include games and ‘bounce house’

activities for children, food vendors, four local bands and fireworks. 

More than 25 vendors

will be featured in the park.
  A
sampling of local food vendors include Franco’s Pizzeria, hamburgers and hot
dogs from the Castle Shannon Youth Association; Masarap Pittsburgh featuring Asian
food;  Jimmy’s Italian Ice will offer
gelatos; Just Keener Nuts will have pierogies, haluski, kielbasa and everyone’s
festival favorite, funnel cakes. 
Concession Food Service will feature snow cones.

The day is topped off

with a fireworks display beginning at 9:30 p.m.
  Families are encouraged to take advantage of
the free, continuous shuttle running
