Cop Accused Of Exchanging Porn With Teen Fired
Part-time Verona police officer Anthony Ogline was dismissed Monday evening.

VERONA, PA - A part-time Verona police officer who police said exchanged pornography with a 16-year-old teen and gave him alcohol and marijuana was fired Monday night. Verona council dismissed Anthony Ogline, who is facing criminal charges resulting from his encounter with the Whitehall teen.
"It's extremely important that we don't let the actions of this one man define our community or our police department," Verona manager Jerry Kenna said in a statement read during a council meeting. "Our officers work very hard and do an amazing job, and Mr. Ogline's behavior cannot overshadow the work that the do every day."
Whitehall police began investigating on Jan. 16 after the boy left school during the day and got into a car. Police were able to track the boy's location the next day to an address in Verona belonging
to Ogline.
