SPEAK UP! - Girls learn negotiation skills
Thursday, July 12, 19, 26, & August 2, 9 / 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
FOR GIRLS IN GRADES 6 - 8
Learning to negotiate enables girls to create positive options for themselves and to resist the pressure to engage in activities that put their safety, health, and future in jeopardy. Group will be facilitated at the Whitehall Public Library by Emily Hein, MA, Outreach Counselor.
GIRLS WILL LEARN:
* Good decision making
* Improving relationships
* Reducing conflict
* Taking more control over their lives
Attendance is HIGHLY recommended for all five sessions. Space is limited. Registration forms due no later than July 10th and are available from the library's website/Teen Page at www.whitehallpubliclibrary.org
