Changes to each bakery included updating the dine-in experience by providing guests with a warmer, more inviting atmosphere, featuring cozy seating and a new community table—perfect for gathering with friends or enjoying the bakery's free Wi-Fi.

Wednesday's event is Bruegger's second fundraiser this year for the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh as part of its nationwide affiliation with the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, an organization that raises funds for 170 children's hospitals across North America.

Last year alone, Bruegger's donated nearly $90,000 to the Children's Miracle Network. This year, Bruegger's will continue to raise funds for the organization and its local hospitals by donating a percentage of nationwide sales from the company's Bottomless Mugs, which go on sale on Oct. 26, and by collecting donations during Bruegger's national Free Coffee Day on Nov. 9.

“We're so pleased to have a partner that believes in our local community and works to raise awareness and funds to help Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh perform its mission,” said Amy Razem, development coordinator for the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation.
