Human Remains Found In Dump Identified As Missing Whitehall Woman
Elizabeth Wisenfeld of Whitehall had been missing for nearly a year.

WHITEHALL, PA - Allegheny County Police say the human remains found Sunday in an illegal dump in Plum are those of Elizabeth Wisenfeld of Whitehall, who disappeared nearly a year ago.
A Plum police officer was patrolling an area known for illegal dumping and off-road vehicle
use Sunday when he observed a garbage bag that appeared to be suspicious When the officer investigated further, he discovered the remains.
Wisenfeld, 67, was reported missing by her daughter on April 30, 2019. Police found blood in Wiesenfeld's bed andsay a masked person used Wisenfeld's ATM at a PNC Bank following her
disappearance.

Wisenfeld's handyman, Douglas Berry, 48, was charged with homicide in September although her body had yet to be located. Berry also has been charged with burglary, access device fraud, receiving stolen property and two counts of theft.
Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala said money appeared to be the motive for the slaying.
