Missing 12-Year-Old Girl Found in Iowa

Claire Toman of Belle Vernon was found unharmed police on Monday.

A 12-year-old Belle Vernon girl who was reported missing on Sunday was found unharmed in Iowa on Monday, according to police.

Claire Ann Toman was last seen around 1 a.m. on Sunday by her parents. Authorities say Toman left her parents’ home wearing a gray Under Armour hoodie, plaid pajama pants, white and black Converse shoes, and may have been carrying a drawstring bag with her, according to KDKA-Pittsburgh.

Toman is unharmed and safely in police custody, KDKA reports. It is not currently clear how she ended up in Iowa.
