BALDWIN, PA - French toast is a dish with many monikers, eggy bread, omelet bread and gypsy toast among them. But there’s only one National French Toast Day and it occurs every November 28.

The base of this delicious dish consists of eggs and milk whisked together, then dipping bread into the mixture and frying it until golden brown. There are a near infinite amount of variants to this recipe, with many people adding ingredients such as sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and whipped cream to the toast.
