Police Investigating 2-Year-Old's Hanging Death

BALDWIN TOWNHIP, PA — Allegheny County Police continue to investigate the death of a two-year-old boy who was accidentally hanged from a pull cord from a set of blinds near his crib.

The incident occurred Sunday n the 2000 block of Jameson Drive.

First responders arrived at the scene and attempted to revive the toddler. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives consulted with the county District Attorneys office and are awaiting autopsy results, police said.
