On January 15, 2014 the board voted to pay Mr Dice $26,000 for 2 months of service, but why? Did he give a legal opinion to the board that the position created and appointed on November 19th was legal? There are still a lot of questions about that night and the board continues to dodge the questions.
The following Right-To-Know was sent to Mr. Cherpak at Baldwin-Whitehall School District. Reading the response from Mr. Cherpak makes me wonder, do we have an agreed upon rate for services from Bruce E. Dice & Assocs.? I for one would never have a person working for me without knowing how much they will be charging and some type of contract stating such.
