BALDWIN, PA - The results are in for the primary races for Baldwin-Whitehall School District director and Baldwin and Whitehall council. The nominated candidates will be on the November general election ballot. All results are unofficial until verified by the Allegheny County Elections Division.

There were seven candidates for four open seats. Karen Brown, David Solenday and Louise Mancuso Wolf and Jerry Pantone won the nominations for both parties and are virtually guaranteed election in November.

Baldwin Borough Council

Five candidates sought four Democratic nominations. No candidates were on the Republican ballot. The results:

  • Marianne Conley: 1,149
  • Francis Scott: 1,053
  • Chad Hurka: 923
  • E. John Egger: 858
  • Robert Ieraci: 853

Whitehall Council

With four seats up for grabs, Democrats Kathy DePuy Thomas Gregory Kelley, Alexa Mihalko and John Wotus were uncontested. Five Republicans sought nominations. The results:
