Sound Off: Should Whitehall Council Control the Borough's Deer Population? And How?
Opinions differ on the way to control the animals' population, if at all.

Are they cute, or are they dangerous? Maybe ... both.

Some of Whitehall's council members and other officials have looked into ways to control the local deer population, but some of the borough's council members have said that perhaps doing nothing is the best way to go, at least for now.
In any event, due to disagreements over how to control the animals' population, if at all, the council is not taking any action anytime soon.

Some of the options explored by the Whitehall Council are a controlled hunt (, , ) and even . that he has used Deer Off deer repellent to keep deer away from his home, but that measure only drives deer to other places within the borough, such as roads.
