Southbound Route 837 Ramp Near Baldwin Reopening Thursday
But ramp restrictions won't be lifted entirely. Here's what you need to know.

BALDWIN, PA - The long-awaited reopening of the southbound Route 837 ramp to northbound Route 885 at the Glenwood interchange near Baldwin will occur Thursday.
The ramp is expected to reopen by 3 p.m. tomorrow. Before the reopening, a traffic shift and line painting operations will cause traffic stoppages of five minutes or less throughout the day. The ramp has been closed since February while deck and superstructure replacement on bridges in the interchanges occurred.
The ramp reopening doesn’t mean all traffic headaches in that area will disappear. The ramp will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on July 13 and July 17-20 as crews continue work on the interchange. Traffic will be detoured.
Additional work includes lighting upgrades, safety improvements, painting and minor approach work will occur as part of the $16.9 million Glenwood interchange project. The project is expected to be completed by December.
