Suspect Arrested In Baldwin Man's Murder

BALDWIN, PA - Allegheny County police have arrested a suspect in the weekend shooting death of a Baldwin man. Adam Scott Rosenberger, 21, of Fox Chapel was charged in the slaying of Jeremy Dentel, 28, police said.

Police were called to Dentel's home in the 3300 block of Vernon Avenue Sunday and found him dead from a single gunshot wound to the head. Police believe Dentel was slain at about 6:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Police believe the two arranged to meet through a dating app.

According to police, Rosenberg has been charged with criminal homicide, robbery, firearm violations and tampering with evidence. He is being housed in the Allegheny County Jail.

Funeral arrangements for Dentel are being handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home.
