Whitehall GIANT store manager named among Top Women in Grocery

Progressive Grocer, a leading retail food industry trade publication, has named six GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets associates to its 2016 Top Women in Grocery, which honors outstanding female leaders in the retailer and supplier community sectors.

The following GIANT/MARTIN’S associates were among those recognized in the store manager category:

• Patricia Del Guercio, store manager, GIANT at 2641 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, PA

· Wendy Evans, store manager, MARTIN’S at 1000 Logan Blvd, Altoona, PA

· Sherry Miller, store manager, GIANT at 1540 Cowpath Road, Hatfield, PA

· Kathy Sweigart, store manager, MARTIN’S at 2032 E. Pleasant Valley Road, Altoona, PA

· Stacey Kenny, deli/bakery specialist, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia region

· Wendy Zahradka-Welch, district director, Philadelphia region
