• Centre County Children & Youth Services talks visitation suites, lack of foster parents (wtaj.com) — Centre County Children & Youth Services, based in Bellefonte's Community Services Building, is using home-like visitation suites to make family visits less stressful for kids and parents. The agency now serves about 200 families a month and urgently needs more local foster parents so children in care can stay connected to their Bellefonte-area schools, friends, and communities.
• Pittsburgh attorney indicted in Penn State cocaine trafficking case speaks out with lengthy statement (cbsnews.com) — A high-profile Penn State cocaine trafficking case has reached the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte, where witnesses recently described the alleged ringleader's behavior during a preliminary hearing. Pittsburgh attorney Paul Robinson, charged with tampering and hindering apprehension tied to his son's role in the case, has issued a detailed statement defending himself as both prepare for upcoming arraignments.
