Visitors can collect stamps at Bellwood, Tyrone, and Altoona libraries for a chance to win a book-filled gift basket, while supporting the Blair County Library System's operating budget.
   

• Bellwood-Antis ninth grader dies following bicycle accident, district says (wjactv.com) — Bellwood-Antis families are grieving after Superintendent Edward DiSabato announced that ninth grader Ian Ulrich died following a weekend bicycle accident. The district has activated its Crisis Intervention Team and school counselors to support students and staff, and is urging parents to talk openly with their children as the Bellwood-Antis community comes together to mourn.
   

• Central Cambria girls cross country captures meet title (altoonamirror.com) — Bellwood sports fans can note that Southern Huntingdon won the Gold Bracket at the Bellwood-Antis Invitational, where Bellwood-Antis' varsity and JV teams both competed. Bellwood-Antis fell in the quarterfinals and its JV squad lost in the Silver Bracket semifinals, while Juniata Valley and Philipsburg-Osceola claimed Silver honors.
