1,000 Turkeys: Drive Launched By Bensalem Food Pantry
Harvest Ministries hopes to hit its goal in its 2023 Turkey Drive to feed needy families in Bensalem and the region this Thanksgiving.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —With Thanksgiving almost a month away, Harvest Ministries is hoping that it can help provide a holiday feast for those in need.
The township pantry on 2284 Bristol Pike at Cornwells UMC is launching its 2023 Turkey Drive in hopes of collecting 1,000 turkeys to hand out to needy families so they can celebrate Thanksgiving.
"We are reaching out to our community with hopes of getting some help," the pantry said. "Please spread the word to as many people as possible. Without your help, many local families may not be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast."

Harvest Ministries serves Bucks County and Philadelphia residents in need of healthy foods out of the Cornwells United Methodist Church at 2284 Bristol Pike. The pantry feeds 600 families a week.
