18 Bags Of Fentanyl, $2,300 Seized At Bensalem Motel: Police

Bensalem Police have charged a Bristol man with drugs and weapons possession after an investigation at the Penn Lodge Motel Wednesday.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A Bristol man has been charged with drugs and weapons possession after township police conducted an investigation at a Lincoln Highway motel Wednesday, police said.

Basheon Johnson, 36, of Schumacher Drive in Bristol, was found with 18 bags of Fentanyl, 1 ounce of crack cocaine, $2,300 in cash, and a 9 mm handgun.

The Bensalem Township Police Department said Johnson is known for trafficking Fentanyl in Bensalem and Bristol townships.

On Wednesday, the police department's special investigations unit conducted a narcotics investigation at the Penn Lodge Motel located at 4331 Lincoln Hwy.

Johnson was charged with manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and person not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms.

Johnson also had an active warrant out of the Bucks County Sherriff’s Office.

Johnson was arraigned by District Justice Michael Gallagher and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
