2 Liquor Store Chain Thefts Reported In Lower Bucks Co.

Bensalem Police seek three suspects, while a Philadelphia man was charged in a Feasterville liquor store retail theft.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — In separate crimes, two stores from a liquor store chain have reported retail thefts, with one suspect in custody and three others being wanted by police.

Bensalem Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits at 2223 Galloway Road at 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 5.

Police said three light-skinned men entered the store and stole about $425.00 worth of assorted alcoholic beverages. The men exited the store without paying for the merchandise and fled the area in a dark-colored Toyota sedan.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspects should submit an anonymous tip below or contact Bensalem Police at 215-633-3719.

Meanwhile, a month earlier, on Dec. 6, Lower Southampton Township Police responded to the Fine Wine and Good Spirits in Feasterville for a liquor retail theft.

Lower Southampton Police have charged Willie F. Upson, 44, of Philadelphia as one of the suspects who concealed alcohol in his clothing before walking out of the store without paying.

Police said that Upson’s criminal history revealed he had no previous retail theft convictions.

Upson received a summary offense and was being held in the Bucks County Prison awaiting a court date.
