$2M Bail For Bensalem Man Who Shared Child Sexual Abuse Pornography
Bensalem Police charged a man Friday for sharing pornography images on a social media chat site of children being sexually assaulted.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A township man is being held on $2 million bail after being charged Friday with child pornography possession and sharing images of children being sexually assaulted with others on a social media chat site, police said.
Richard Schnee, 50, of Inlet Drive in Bensalem was charged with sexual abuse of children, dissemination, possession of child pornography, and related charges.
Bensalem Township Police Detectives received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on April 9 that someone using the screen name “Dangerdick2021” on Discord, a popular online chat server, may have been sharing child pornography with other users.

Detectives discovered that Schnee created and used the Discord account.
Upon further investigation, detectives were able to confirm that Schnee was sharing and trading child pornography with other users on that account.

Numerous graphic messages from Schnee were also discovered that depicted his affinity for children, stating that “…pregnant 6yos would be hot…”
On May 7, a search warrant was executed at Schnee’s home when various electronic devices were seized.
Forensic examinations were conducted on his devices, and upon the examinations’ completion, the following was discovered: Various files depicting child pornography were found on his cell phone, laptop, and desktop computer.
On his phone, in particular, various child pornography files depicting prepubescent children being sexually assaulted were found. One even depicted the sexual assault of an infant.
Schnee turned himself in at the Bensalem Township Police Department on Friday.
He was arraigned by District Justice Joseph Falcone and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $2 million bail.
