3 Retail Thefts In 2 Days Reported In Bensalem

Bensalem Police are seeking suspects involved in retail thefts Wednesday and Thursday at three township stores.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Police are investigating three retail thefts over the past two days.

The Bensalem Township Police Department is investigating a retail theft at Kohl's on 2325 Street Rd. on Thursday.

It was reported that around 9 a.m. a black woman entered the Sephora section of the store and concealed makeup items in a large black tote bag, police said.

She exited the store without paying for the merchandise and fled the area in a white Nissan sedan with a Virginia license plate.

The total amount stolen was approximately $1,633.

Meanwhile, police are investigating a retail theft at the Giant Food Store at 2721 Street Rd. on Thursday.

Around 10:30 a.m., it was reported that an unknown black or Hispanic woman entered the store and selected numerous cosmetic products, as well as food and beverages, police said.

She placed all the items in a blue reusable bag and exited the store without paying for the merchandise.

The total amount stolen was $750.67, police said.

Police are also investigating a retail theft at the Acme on 2301 Bristol Rd. on Wednesday.

It was reported that an unknown white man entered the store around 1 p.m. and stole seven cases of Twisted Tea Lights, valued at $134. The suspect then fled on foot without paying for the merchandise.
