4 Retail Thefts Under Investigation In Bensalem
Bensalem Police said two of the thefts took place over the past few days at Boscov's in the Neshaminy Mall.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Police are investigating four retail thefts over the past few weeks, including two on back-to-back days at Boscov's in the Neshaminy Mall.
Police said a theft occurred at the Boscov's located at 200 Neshaminy Mall Dr. on Sept. 25 around 7:45 p.m. A black man entered the store and stole a pair of sweatpants and a denim jacket valuing $85. He fled on foot without paying for the merchandise, police said.
One day later, at 5:35 p.m. on Sept. 26, a white woman took $400 worth of clothing from Boscov's and exited the store without paying. She got into a silver Nissan SUV and fled the scene, police said.

Meanwhile, police are investigating a retail theft at the Home Depot at 1336 Bristol Pk on Sept. 16. It was reported at 11:50 a.m. that three Hispanic men arrived in a dark SUV and entered the store. Two men concealed several rolls of scotch tape and two knives worth $130 total. An employee approached the men and they ran on foot toward the wooded area, police said.
Bensalem Police are also investigating a retail theft at the Giant located at 2721 Street Rd. on Sept. 12. At 10 p.m., a black man stole about $120 worth of Liquid Tide detergent, Liquid Gain detergent, and Drano. He fled the area on a black mountain bike.
