82 Citations Issued In State Police Route 95 Crackdown
State Police conducted a "high-visibility" enforcement on the highway in Bensalem and Philadelphia to reduce serious motor vehicle crashes.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A "proactive, high-visibility" enforcement detail on Interstate 95 by state police Monday led the several arrests and numerous traffic citations issued.
The Pennsylvania State Police said that the goal of the enforcement detail on Interstate 95 throughout Bucks County and Philadelphia was to reduce serious motor vehicle crashes.
State Police said they issued 82 traffic citations and 55 warnings.

Three motorists were also arrested for driving under the influence while another was arrested for a warrant, state police said.
Participating members of the detail included the Troop M Trevose Patrol Unit, Troop K
Philadelphia Patrol Unit, Troop T King of Prussia Patrol Unit, the Troop M Criminal Interdiction
Team, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation Auto Theft Unit Task Force, and the Motor Carrier Safety Assistance Program.
