BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Two police officers were promoted, and another one was hired during a recent ceremony by the Bensalem Township Police Department.
Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo administered the oath to two newly promoted police officers and one newly appointed officer during a ceremony at the Township Council Chambers before family members, friends, fellow officers, command staff, members of the Bensalem Township Fire Department, and the Township Council.
Sgt. Colin Broderick has served with the police department since 2014, following eight years with the Philadelphia Police Department.
He currently serves as an Assistant Team Leader with SWAT, where he is also assigned as a sniper.
In addition, Broderick has served as a member of the Accident Investigation Division and the Honor Guard, and serves as a firearms instructor and armorer.
Corporal Noah Pultro has been a member of the police department since 2018, after serving five years with the Philadelphia Police Department.
Pultro serves as a department firearms armorer and is actively involved in the Police Activities League (PAL) program.
Throughout his career, Pultro has participated in numerous major investigations, contributing to the seizure of illegal weapons and narcotics.
Police Officer Ryan McLaughlin, a Philadelphia native, is a graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School and Temple University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology.
He has served with the Pennsylvania State Police since 2022 and was most recently assigned to the Trevose Barracks.
