BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Bensalem Police are seeking a Yardley Borough man for firing shots inside a township restaurant on Monday.
Bensalem Police responded Monday to Asad’s Hot Chicken at 2568 Knights Road for a report of a gunshot fired inside the bathroom.
Police officers found a hole in the wall and bullet fragments on the floor.
Bensalem Police Detectives reviewed CCTV footage from inside the restaurant and utilized township intersection cameras and License Plate Reader (LPR) technology.
Police identified the suspect as 19-year-old Landon McMahon of Yardley, who fled the scene in a newer-model Infiniti sedan.
Police have obtained an arrest warrant for McMahon, charging him with Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, and other related offenses.
The Middletown Township Police Department later attempted to conduct a traffic stop of McMahon while he was operating the Infiniti sedan; however, he fled from police.
McMahon should be considered armed and dangerous, police said. Members of the public are advised not to approach and to contact police immediately.
Anyone with information regarding McMahon’s whereabouts is urged to contact Bensalem Police at 215-633-3719.
