BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The man wanted for a shooting in a township restaurant last month has turned himself in to police.
Bensalem Police said Landon McMahon turned himself in on Thursday at the police department on his active warrant for the April 27 shooting incident at Asad's Hot Chicken on Knights Road.
He was arraigned by District Justice Joseph Falcone on the firearms charges in Bensalem and the fleeing and eluding charges in Middletown Township.
McMahon, 19, of Yardley, was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10 percent of $125,000 bail on the Bensalem charges and 10 percent of $75,000 bail on the Middletown Township charges.
Bensalem Police had responded to Asad’s Hot Chicken for a report of a gunshot fired inside the bathroom.
Police located a hole in the wall and bullet fragments on the floor. They reviewed footage from inside the restaurant and utilized township intersection cameras and License Plate Reader technology.
Police identified McMahon, who fled the scene in a newer-model Infiniti sedan.
Bensalem Police obtained an arrest warrant for McMahon, charging him with Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Firearms Not to Be Carried Without a License, and other related offenses.
The Middletown Police Department later attempted to conduct a traffic stop of McMahon while he was operating the Infiniti sedan; however, he fled from police.
