BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The township is seeking community input on an "active transportation plan" it's putting together.
The township has received a grant for funding through the WalkWorks Program to develop an Active Transportation Plan.
The plan refers to walking, cycling, using a wheelchair (or other micromobility device), or accessing transit to get to everyday destinations.
"A healthy and vibrant community means having safe access to active transportation. However, there are often physical barriers to commuting through means other than driving," township officials.
Township officials are seeking input from residents and are asking them to take a short survey.
