4th of Gelati Returns As Rita's Italian Ice Patriotic Treat

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard has once again rolled out its patriotic sweet treat for the Fourth of July holiday.

The 4th of Gelati is back for a limited time. It features a five-layer stack of blue Italian Ice, creamy Vanilla Frozen Custard, and red Italian Ice, all topped with Firecracker Glitter for the ultimate patriotic finish.

The Bensalem-based Rita's will offer the sweet treat through July 5.

“This festive treat captures the spirit of the season with its patriotic layers and signature Rita’s flavors, giving families and friends a delicious way to celebrate the Fourth of July and make sweet summer memories," said Carmela Hughley, Rita's SVP of Marketing Insights and Innovation.

Rita's signature Italian Ice is made fresh daily on-site and available in a rotating daily selection from over 80 flavors.

Other menu items at Rita's include creamy Frozen Custard, signature Gelati, Concretes, Frozen Coffee, Rita's Blendinis, Milkshakes and more.

Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard opened its doors in Bensalem in 1984, and has been dedicated to spreading “Ice, Custard, Happiness!” ever since.
