The Bensalem Township Fire Rescue Department was also alerting residents that the township received a significant amount of rainfall, and several roads are experiencing flooding.

Drivers were urged not to go through flooded roadways, which includes Station Avenue.

The Bensalem Emergency Management has been closely monitoring weather conditions and has activated additional First Responder resources to enhance public safety.

Extra water rescue teams were deployed and are strategically staged in areas of the township that are known to experience flooding.

These crews are prepared to respond quickly should emergency assistance be needed.

If you encounter a flooded roadway, Turn Around, Don’t Drown. Never attempt to drive or walk through floodwaters, authorities said.
