BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — A Montgomery County man faces up to 10 years in prison for trying to meet a girl for sex, authorities said.
Pawol Piotr Sudol, 45, of North Wales, pleaded guilty in March to felony counts of attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, attempted statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, corruption of minors, and criminal use of a communication facility and a misdemeanor count of indecent assault.
Sudol was sentenced last week to 5 to 10 years in state prison for attempting to meet the girl for a sexual encounter, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said.
The investigation began after Sudol initiated contact with what he believed to be a 13-year-old female victim over a social media and dating application in September 2025.
Over several weeks, Sudol used text messaging to explicitly communicate his intentions to travel to her residence to engage in sexual acts, authorities said.
Sudol planned a meeting after he left his job on Oct. 7.
He drove from his home in North Wales and bought flowers at a Giant Supermarket, authorities said.
He arrived at meeting location with the flowers, but he quickly fled the scene under the suspicion that the meetup was a trap and that someone was watching him from another vehicle, authorities said.
Following an investigation by Bensalem Township Detectives, who operated in conjunction with the FBI Child Exploitation & Human Trafficking Task Force and the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, charges were filed on Oct. 29.
Sudol has been in custody since his arrest on Nov. 3.
