Burglar Hit Same Bensalem Business Twice In 2 Months: PD

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — A man is in custody in connection with two burglaries over the past two months at the same place, police said.

Bensalem Police responded at 6 a.m. on Saturday to Hot Deal Liquidation at 3150 Knights Road for a burglary in progress.

A man was arrested for the crime at the same place that was burglarized on May 26, police said.

Police officers found a door open to the business. While searching the property, officers located David Adamek hiding beneath the wheel well of a trailer near the loading dock.

Surveillance video captured Adamek forcing his way into the building and triggering the alarm, police said.

Detectives interviewed Adamek and found him in possession of items connected to the May 26 burglary, police said.

Police said that Adamek admitted to committing both burglaries and led police to the location of the safe stolen during the May burglary.

Adamek was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Kevin Wagner, who set bail at 10 percent of $100,000. He was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
