Bensalem Police said Khan inappropriately touched a 14-year-old high school special needs female student on several occasions.

Interim Schools Superintendent Victoria Velazquez addressed the school community in an email about the allegations.

Upon receiving the report, district administration immediately initiated its established incident response procedures and began an administrative investigation, Velazquez said.

She said the employee has been removed from service and district pending the outcome of the criminal and administrative investigations.

"Because this remains an active criminal investigation, the district cannot comment on the specific allegations or discuss personnel matters beyond what is appropriate under the law," Velazquez said.

She said the district is fully cooperating with Bensalem Police and will continue to assist law enforcement as requested.

The district will also continue its own administrative investigation in accordance with school board policy, district procedures, and applicable law.

Out of respect for the student and family and to protect the integrity of the ongoing investigations, no additional information will be released at this time, the interim superintendent said.

She said that any questions or concerns related to the investigation can be reported to the Bensalem Police Department.
