BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The Bensalem High School Drama Club is presenting two performances of "8 Minutes Left."
The shows will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday at the Bensalem High School Auditorium, 4319 Hulmeville Road.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
"8 Minutes Left" is a one act dramedy play written by e.b. lee.
The plot is that the world is coming to an end at exactly 4:44 p.m. today, and no one has had any time to prepare.
"8 Minutes Left" follows the residents of Charlesville, N.J. as they navigate their final moments on Earth: From a couple with a bunker in their backyard who can't quite figure out how to get in, to two elderly frenemies who fight over their favorite park bench, to a mother observing her children on a playground as she wonders what their lives would have become, this thoughtful and keenly observed play manages to find the intimate humor of humans in crisis.
BHS drama productions are professional-quality shows that have always enjoyed community support and a great audience turnout.
