Visit Bucks County Welcomes New Hire in Communications Department

Visit Bucks County, the official tourism promotion agency of Bucks County, welcomes Jessica Lawlor as its Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

Previously with Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Jessica is a 2010 graduate of Temple University with a degree in strategic and organizational communication. In her new position at the tourism office, Jessica will play a central role in generating content promoting Visit Bucks County’s tourism partners. Jessica will handle Visit Bucks County’s social media initiatives on Pinterest, Foodspotting, and Foursquare.  She will also support various public relations efforts and marketing programs. 

“We are very excited to welcome Jess to the Marketing & Communications team at Visit Bucks County,” states Paul Bencivengo, marketing & communications director. “As technology and online communities evolve, tourism organizations need to reevaluate how we connect with our visitors. Jessica has the ideal skillset to help us do just that.” 

Jessica serves as the chair of the college relations committee for the Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA) and co-chairs the young professionals committee for the Philadelphia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). She is also a board member for the Temple University Young Alumni Association. In her free time, Jessica is a freelance writer and book review blogger. She enjoys running and is training for the Broad Street Run this spring.
