Apartment Building Fire Under Investigation In Bensalem
Bensalem Township Fire Rescue said 16 apartments suffered damage from the fire on Knights Road on Monday night.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bensalem Township Fire Rescue is investigating the cause of a fire at the Knightsbridge Apartments E-Building on Monday night.
Investigators said the fire took place at 9:40 p.m. Monday last night on 2900 Knights Rd. at the Knightsbridge Apartments E-Building.
Fire and police crews arrived on the scene and reported heavy smoke coming from a second-floor apartment.

The fire extended from the original apartment into the roof of E-Building, causing damage to 16 apartments before the fire was placed under control.
Fire investigators were on the scene throughout the night investigating the cause of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Four apartments sustained significant damage with 12 others suffering smoke and/or water damage, investigators said.
The Red Cross was on the scene assisting about 10 displaced residents.
