Armed Robber Manhunt Suspended In Bensalem Township

Bensalem Police were seeking an "armed and dangerous suspect" from Warminster Tuesday afternoon in the township's Eddington section.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —A manhunt has been suspended Tuesday afternoon in Bensalem Township for an armed carjacking suspect from Warminster, authorities said.

The Bensalem Township Police Department said the manhunt was in the township's Eddington section.

Police were searching for a Warminster armed robbery suspect who ditched his vehicle and fled from Brown Avenue and Olga Avenue.

Bensalem Police suspended the search for the second suspect after several hours Tuesday afternoon, Warminster Township Police said.

The suspect was described as a black man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and a black ski mask.

He was in the area of Brown Avenue towards Forrest Avenue at 2:23 p.m. Residents are asked to stay vigilant and dial 911 if they see anything suspicious.

One suspect was in custody and a second is still at large. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.

Warminster Township Police responded to the 200 block of East County Line Road for a report of an armed robbery.

Police officers were told that two suspects robbed him, pointed guns, and took his car.

Information was broadcast to surrounding zones and other officers observed the vehicle. The vehicle fled into Bensalem, where an active manhunt is underway.
