Audrey Lyall honored upon Retirement

(Bensalem, PA, Levittown, PA) Long-time Levittown resident and Bensalem employee, Audrey Lyall, was honored on December 29, 2016 with a special party in recognition of her 24.5 years of service to the elders in the community and her retirement. Held at Juniper Village at Bucks County, formerly Wood River Village, the Honorable Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and Bucks County Recorder of Deeds Joseph Szafran, Jr. were in attendance to share their good wishes and gratitude.

“Working with Audrey was always fun, the residents and their families just adored her. She will be greatly missed by the residents and all the employees. We are so happy for her and we wish her a wonderful retirement life full of fun, happiness and good health,” expressed Pamela McDonnell of Juniper Village.

Audrey started at the bottom and worked her way up. Her first position was as a server in the dining room. She then became the assistant activities director and ultimately the Director of Activities. She was loved by the residents and staff, and will be missed.

Every year Audrey also worked with the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization that transports America’s Veterans to Washington, DC to visit those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of themselves and their friends. She worked closely with Joseph Szafran on this meritable cause.

Although it is difficult to leave her work family and the residents who have become her second family, Audrey is looking forward to spending more time with her grandchildren.
