Back To The Eighties Show Kicks Off Bensalem Concert Series

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The township kicks off its 2023 Penn Community Bank Amphitheater Concert Series Wednesday night with a group whose performance had to be scrapped due to bad weather at the Family Fall Festival.

The concert season opener is 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The first concert features the Back to the Eighties Show with Jessie's Girl.

That performance was chosen first after township officials rescheduled the show when the Family Fall Festival had to be delayed due to bad weather and the concert was canceled.

Township officials said not only is the show, and the band back, but it's also an extra show.

"We are actually starting the concert season a week early on May 31st, giving you an extra concert," township officials said.

Back to the Eighties Show with Jessie’s Girl is a tribute to the music of the 1980s. The band is comprised primarily of a team of New York City's top rock and pop vocalists, backed by a band of veterans with more than 20 years of experience in the New York City music scene.

TICKETS

Tickets for the concerts are $5 for Bensalem residents (with proof of ID) and $10 for non-residents. Tickets can be purchased online at www.pcbaevents.com or at admission booths starting at 6:00 P.M. on concert nights. If you purchase tickets online, please make sure that you either print out your ticket or have your digital QR code ready on your phone for admittance to the concert. Concert tickets are not sold at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building, only season passes are.

SEASON PASSES
Season Passes for the 2023 Penn Community Bank Amphitheater Concert Series are on sale now.

Passes are $60 for the 13 concerts. For Bensalem residents (with proof of residency), the package is $45 with the discount.

Season passes can be purchased online at www.pcbaevents.com or in-person at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building, 2400 Byberry Rd., Bensalem, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Cash, credit (taxes and fees apply), check, or money order will be accepted in-person. Online purchases can be picked up at the Bensalem Township Municipal Building or at the front gate during the first two concerts of the season.

Season passes will not be mailed.

Season Pass holders will be permitted into the venue at 5:30 p.m. Gates open for general admission at 6 p.m.
