Back To School: Bensalem Township 2023-24 School Calendar

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Bensalem Township with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Bensalem Township School District.

The first day of school for most students in Bensalem Township is Monday, Aug. 28.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Bensalem Township School District

First Day: Aug. 28

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23, 24

Winter Break: Dec. 22-Jan. 1

Spring Break: March 28 to April 2

Last Day: June 7

The Bensalem Township School District said that the first day of school for students in Grades 2 to 6, 8, and 10 to 12 is Monday, Aug. 28. (Those students do not attend on Tuesday.)

The first day of school for students in Grades K, 1, 7. and 9 is Tuesday, Aug. 29.

All students in K-12 report on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

School hours for elementary schools will be 8:55 a.m. to 3:41 p.m.; middle schoolers will be in classes from 8:10 a.m. to 2:56 p.m. and high school will take place from 7:21 a.m. to 2:11 p.m.
