Bensalem Changes High School Graduation Plans
The Bensalem Township School District is moving the graduation ceremony on Thursday due to a threat of thunderstorms.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — With more storms in the forecast on Thursday night, the Bensalem Township School District has decided to change graduation plans.
Bensalem High School’s 102nd Annual Commencement is being changed from 6 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday.
The graduation of the Bensalem High School Class of 2026 will take place in the Bensalem Memorial Stadium.

Bensalem High School is located at 4319 Hulmeville Road. Bensalem Memorial Stadium is located behind the high school on Byberry Road.
"This decision was made to avoid the highest risk of thunderstorms later in the day, as well as the excessive heat warnings that are expected," school officials said. "Most importantly, we want to provide the safest possible environment for our graduates, families, staff, and guests."
