Bensalem Community Park Closing For Month
Starting Monday, the park will be closed four days a week for the Bensalem Township Summer Recreation Program.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Community Park is going to be closed for several days each week for a stretch of the summer.
Township officials announced Friday that the park will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays July 1 through Aug. 1.
Officials said the closure will include all foot traffic and any vehicles. The closure also includes the lower parking lots of the park.

The restricted time closure is due to the housing of the Bensalem Township Summer Recreation Program, officials said.
"There will be no admittance to anyone who is not a participant of the summer program as the safety of those participating takes priority over all else," officials said.

The Community Park will re-open for public use at 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
The park is open during regular park hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
