Bensalem Community Park Reducing Hours For A Month
Bensalem officials said the park will have limited access starting Wednesday to accommodate the summer recreation program housing.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Community Park will be closed for most of the day for most of the week for a month starting Wednesday.
Township officials said that the 100-acre park at 4301 Richlieu Rd. will be closed to the public between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Wednesday through Aug. 3.
The closure includes all foot traffic as well as any and all vehicles, officials said.

The reason for the closure is for the housing of the Bensalem Township Summer Recreation Program.
The program runs Monday through Thursday until Aug. 3, when normal park hours resume.

Township officials said there will be no admittance to anyone who is not a participant in the summer programs as a safety precaution for the participants.
The Community Park will re-open for public use at 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and will be open under the regular park hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The Bensalem Township Parks and Recreation Department thanks all Community Park users for their cooperation and understanding regarding the park closure.
