Bensalem Man Sentenced To Time Served On Child Porn Charge: DA

Paul Williams, 41, had been jailed for the past year after he was found with more than 500 photos and videos on his phone last year.

BENSALEM, PA — A Bensalem who was arrested and jailed last year after more than 500 images of child pornography were found on his phone was sentenced to time served, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced on Monday.

Paul Williams, who has been held at the Bucks County jail since last October, was originally sentenced to serve between 11 ½ and 23 months in jail on the charges. He was also sentenced to three years of probation and was arrested two months after charges were filed against him. Police were alerted to the fact that 12 child pornography images were downloaded at a Bensalem home in January 2020.

Williams, 41, was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography after the hundreds of photos were found on his phone. Williams pleaded guilty to one felony count of possession of child pornography in June, the district attorney’s office said.
