Bensalem Police Officer Avoids Injury In Crash
Bensalem Police said a police officer was involved in a crash on Galloway Road on Wednesday.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bensalem Township Police Department said one of its police officers was involved in a crash on Galloway Road on Wednesday.
Bensalem Police said the officer was uninjured and was able to avoid crashing into another vehicle which abruptly stopped to avoid striking a deer that suddenly emerged in the roadway.
Police thanked residents who expressed their concern for the police officer.

Meanwhile, Bensalem Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at Home Depot at 900 Rockhill Dr. on Nov. 2.
Police said a white man entered the store at 5 p.m. and stole a 75-piece bit set valued at $64.97.

The man fled on foot without paying for the merchandise, police said.
Police believe the suspect is the same man who stole two DeWalt batteries worth $458 from the same location on Oct. 31.
