Bensalem Police Seek Help Catching Burglar

BENSALEM, PA — The Bensalem Police Department is asking for the public's help catching a burglar who tried to break into a local home recently.

The attempted burglary happened at about 6 a.m. on Aug. 28 in the 1200 block of William Penn Drive in the Wellington Estates subdivision.

According to police, the burglar was captured on a home surveillance system trying to get into the home by cutting the screen on a ground-floor window. Police shared an image captured by that system, asking the public for help identifying the burglar.
