Bensalem Student Government Collects Over 8,000 Cans Of Food
In the season of giving, Bensalem students showed their passion for community activism.
Bensalem Township School District has many reasons to be proud of its student body, and another reason just got added to the list.
Recently, Bensalem High School’s Student Government Association (SGA) annual canned food drive collected over 8,000 cans of food.
Students collected, sorted, and boxed the massive amount of food so that members from the Bensalem Lions Club can pick up the boxes on Friday, Dec. 16.

The Lions Club will put the items in basket to distribute to needy families in the Bensalem area.
